Tencent Cloud Partners With Ankr for Blockchain API Services, Launches Metaverse-in-a-Box

Cointime Official

Tencent Cloud, a cloud service provider in China, announced a partnership with Ankr, a Web3 infrastructure provider, to collaborate on developing a full suite of blockchain API services. The suite will provide a globally distributed and decentralized network of Remote Procedure Call (RPC) nodes, which will enable Web3 project builders to power their projects more efficiently. The blockchain API services will be deployed on top of Tencent Cloud's infrastructure and provide reliable connections to popular blockchains.

Tencent Cloud has also announced strategic collaborations with three other Web3 blockchain partners, including Avalanche, Scroll, and Sui. Avalanche is a smart contracts platform that allows Web3 developers to launch custom, highly scalable solutions, and a fully synchronized Avalanche full node has been set up on Tencent Cloud's infrastructure. Scroll, on the other hand, aims to build an open-sourced fully EVM-compatible zk-Rollup with a strong proving network, and Tencent Cloud will provide infrastructure support to help establish the initial scaling solution foundation. Lastly, Sui is a Layer-1 blockchain optimized for high-performing games, and Tencent Cloud will work with Sui to provide game developers with effective cloud-based game development tools and dedicated support to optimize the on-chain gaming experience.

Along with the partnership, Tencent revealed the launch of its latest product, Tencent Cloud Metaverse-in-a-Box.  Tencent Cloud Metaverse-in-a-Box is a versatile tool that can be used in various industries, including gaming, media, and entertainment, as well as conventional industries and Web3 natives. With the ability to address different scenarios' requirements, it allows businesses to develop metaverse applications rapidly, offering a more secure acceleration, more flexibility within the communities, and a truly immersive experience.

"Built on our leading technologies and enormous industry experience, we are proud to introduce Metaverse-in-a-Box with the goal to accelerate public sectors and enterprise clients’ journey to the Metaverse." Tommy Li, Vice President of Tencent Cloud, stated in the announcement.
