Staking Protocol EigenLayer Releases First Stage Testnet

Staking protocol EigenLayer has announced the release of its testnet for the first stage of the protocol. 

The EigenLayer launch is structured in three stages to facilitate the smooth integration of various participants:

  1. Stakers: Onboarding stakers for restaking on EigenLayer.
  2. Operators: Onboarding node operators who can receive delegation from restakers.
  3. Services: Actively validating the first services on EigenLayer.

In addition, the EigenLayer contracts are undergoing audits, and a bug bounty program will be launched following the completion of these audits. The code is licensed under a BSL license for two years, after which it will convert to an MIT license. The EigenLayer team encourages the community to share their thoughts on the codebase via the GitHub repository.
