April 27 (Cointime) - Polygon Labs, a development and growth team for the Ethereum scaling solution Polygon Network, announced the launch of  ‍Polygon Bridge for zkEVM, offering users the security, UX, and functionality of the Polygon PoS Bridge.

According to the announcement, the bridge is powered by zero-knowledge technology and is governed entirely by smart contracts, offering fast finality and inheriting Ethereum's security. Most popular assets, including ERC-20 tokens and ERC-777 tokens, are supported, and no mapping is required for bridging transactions, offering a major UX improvement compared to other chains.
