Ethereum Shanghai Upgrade Enters Final Testing Stage, Mainnet Shadow Fork Scheduled Next Week

Tim Beiko, a core developer of Ethereum, provided a summary of the latest ACDE on Twitter. The Ethereum Shanghai upgrade test is in its final stage, and cross-client EVM fuzzing is ongoing. Lodestar has released a new optional version, and Prysm may also release an update prior to the upgrade.

"Testing is entering its final stages, with a last mainnet shadow fork scheduled next week and cross-client EVM fuzzing of the latest releases." Beiko said.

Shapella is scheduled on mainnet for epoch 194048, scheduled for 22:27:35 UTC on Apr. 12, 2023.
