BlockFi Files for Bankruptcy, Sues SBF for $575M Robinhood Stocks

BlockFi has officially filed for bankruptcy protection. BlockFi has US$256.9 million in cash on hand, which is expected to provide sufficient liquidity to support certain operations during the restructuring process.

On the same day BlockFi sued the Emergent Fidelity Technologies holding company of FTX founder Sam Bankman-Fried for Robinhood Markets (HOOD) shares held by the company and promised to BlockFi as collateral.
