Digital payment processor Zebedee has upgraded its platform to enable fast, secure, and low-cost cross-border payments between the US, UK, EU, Brazil, and the Philippines using Bitcoin’s Lightning Network. The Zebedee app, which allows users to earn and transfer bitcoin by playing games, browsing the web, and listening to podcasts, now connects directly to partners worldwide to facilitate multi-currency payments. The upgrade is a major step towards making bitcoin the main form of money for the modern age by making it intuitive and simple to use for the average person, according to Andre Neves, CTO and co-founder of Zebedee.
