Yuga Labs, the creators of successful NFT collections like the Bored Ape Yacht Club, Mutant Ape Yacht Club and others has been in a sea of news lately. The most recent being from one of its co-founders Wylie Aronow, who tweeted about stepping down from the startup’s day-to-day operations.
Wylie revealed on his Twitter account that he has been diagnosed with congestive heart failure and would be taking a leave of absence from the company. Although, he has confirmed that he would remain a board member and strategic advisor to Yuga Labs, he will be absent from the company’s frontline action scene.
The NFT entrepreneur stated that he had pushed himself well beyond his capabilities on the project, putting in back-to-back 12-hour days of labor in an effort to seize a second chance at life after spending the majority of his twenties suffering a severe disease.
