Ripple CEO Brad Garlinghouse praised Jenson's background and experience, stating that it will be invaluable as Ripple continues to be a responsible global leader in the space. Jenson joins former US Treasurer Rosie Rios, former JPMorgan Chase Chief Regulatory Affairs Officer Sandie O'Connor, and Managing Director of Albright Stonebridge Group Michael Warren on Ripple's board. Ripple is currently embroiled in a dispute with the SEC over the sale of XRP, with a decision expected later this year.
