Dr. Saifedean Ammous appointed Economic Advisor to El Salvador's National Bitcoin Office

Dr. Saifedean Ammous, author of the book "The Bitcoin Standard," has been appointed as the Economic Advisor to El Salvador's National Bitcoin Office.

The Office announced on May 30 that the Austrian economist would be advising on various economic policies. Ammous' book analyzes the history of money and the transition from solid stores of value to fiat currencies.

He recently traveled to El Salvador to lecture students and meet with President Nayib Bukele, expressing his support for the country's Bitcoin policy.
